Ali Hassan – Playing Offense with Unique Strategies
Our guest today is Ali Hassan, Founding Partner at Perceptive Capital. Perceptive Capital is an actively managed investment fund that employs a discretionary, multi-strategy approach. The three main strategies are fundamental directional long, DeFi productivity, and venture. Prior to co-founding Perceptive Capital, Ali founded Crescent Crypto Asset Management and prior to that was a venture investor at Fairview Capital. Ali started his career at Goldman trading equities and options by day and Bitcoin by night. Ali has also authored the paper “The Rise of Blockchain” in 2016 and has been featured in numerous media outlets. Ali graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in International Trade & Economics from St. Peter’s University.
